Michael Culligan, RPh is the Director of Pharmacy. He is a 1993 Graduate of the University Of Connecticut School Of Pharmacy. He has worked as a clinical pharmacist in Connecticut, Indiana and Virginia. Prior to Director he was the Assistant Director of Clinical Operations at Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford, Ct. Mike was actively involved in the full implementation of CPOE, , Bedside Bar-coding, Smart Pump technology, automated dispensing, handling of pharmacy waste and IV automation at St. Francis Hospital. Mike has put into action hospital wide IV automation at Saint Francis in 2003 which has currently dispensed approximately 4 million products.
Jason Langlais, RPh is the Assistant Director of Operations for the Department of Pharmacy. Jason received his B.S. degree from the University of Connecticut in 1994. He began practicing as a staff pharmacist on the Mount Sinai campus of Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in 1994 and was later named the Team Leader for the MSC. Jason's practice interests include pharmacy operations and rehabilitation medicine.
Ellen Santoro, RPh a Graduate of Western Ct. St. College, 1975, B.A. in Chemistry and the University of Connecticut, 1982, B.S. in Pharmacy. Worked for many years as a staff clinical pharmacist, specializing in medical teaching, geriatrics and rehab units. Presently, working as a Team Leader of Operations with responsibilities of interviewing, hiring, training and evaluating pharmacists and technicians. Also, recently worked as the pharmacy site manager at Bristol Hospital for 1.5 years managing a staff of 10 employees and precepting UCONN 263 experiential students.
Gregory Kratz, R.Ph., Pharm D is the Team Leader for Sterile Products. Greg received his BS degree from the University of Connecticut in 1997 and his Doctor in Pharmacy in 2003. Before joining Saint Francis in 2005, Greg was a consultant pharmacist in the long-term care arena. Greg's practice areas include sterile products, operations, and oncology.
Alex Sibicky, RPh is the manager of Pharmacy Informatics and Technology. He received his BS degree in Pharmacy from the University of Connecticut in 1974. Alex worked for several years as a staff clinical pharmacist, then worked as a pharmacy supervisor, converting the hospital's floor stock system into Unit-Dose. He was responsible for the first computer technology in the pharmacy, creating programs that calculated NICU baby TPN as well as adult TPN's. Alex was the Assistant Director of Pharmacy operations for about 20 years before assuming his current position of technology and informatics in 2008. He currently plays a large role in bedside barcoding, automated dispensing management, patient medication charging, managing the state VFC vaccine program and analyzing medication purchase costs.
Lisa Iacobucci, R.Ph., PharmD is the Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator and the preceptor for the Drug Policy/Drug Information longitudinal rotation. Lisa completed her B.S. in Pharmacy from the University of Connecticut in 1994 and her Doctor of Pharmacy from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2002. She began practicing at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in 2000. Her interests are education with the pharmacists, pharmacy practice residents and pharmacy students.
